Special Clinical Interests- Malignancy of the Gastrointestinal Tract, especially Colon Cancer and Surgical Problems of the Female Breast. Dr. Thompson assisted in reorganizing the breast cancer screening clinic at Ben Taub Hospital. He is experienced in all other areas of General Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery as well.
